To mimic the intimate and resonating connections many poets create through their personal histories, participants in this seminar will be challenged to explore memory by tangibly observing their own pasts, leading readers toward epiphanic realizations. A short lecture will explore specific poetic forms and tactics in this genre. A generative workshop will follow.
