Chuck Kellum Membership Chair Chuck Kellum grew up on a Hoosier farm and began making poetry while a senior in college studying engineering. He made about 120 poems in the course of a dozen years before getting married, but then was too busy after that with work and family. His making of poems on a somewhat frequent basis resumed in 2009 after his kids were grown and he was no longer working full time. Poems of his have been included in several small journals and anthologies, and he has also contributed to Indiana’s INverse online poetry archive. He enjoys ongoing affiliation with other poets in various ways, including the “ModPo” online study community, the Noble Poets poetry group, and Poetry Society of Indiana. |

PSI is what YOU make it!
Any PSI Member in good standing can volunteer for Board Officer and/or Appointed positions. In addition to their elected positions, our current Board officers are acting as other Chairs, so if you are a PSI Member and are interested in helping out behind the scenes, please contact us at [email protected].
Chairs and Committees have been part of PSI's success for over 80 years. Now we're in the digital age, and PSI continues to encourage poets and support poetry writing in innovative and exciting ways. A lot of communication and outreach is faster and easier than in the past. Events, contests, workshops, writing sessions and more can be both in-person and digital. So much can be planned, promoted, executed, and shared across platforms like our website, Zoom, social media, and in other ways.
Many hands make light work!
