PSI Officers and Committee Chairs
President
Tamara Saylor
Raised by a pack of wild philosophers and poets in the Pacific Northwest, Tamara Saylor was a would-be petroleum engineer in Alaska before a smooth-talking flatlander convinced her to become a Midwestern wife and mother. The children are now grown, and she’s retired from marketing and patient care, but her lifelong love of words persists. She hopes to help PSI grow in education, encouragement, and opportunities for Hoosier poets to gather and share their work.

PSI is what YOU make it!
Any PSI Member in good standing can volunteer for Board Officer and/or Appointed positions. In addition to their elected positions, our current Board officers are acting as other Chairs, so if you are a PSI Member and are interested in helping out behind the scenes, please contact us at [email protected].
Chairs and Committees have been part of PSI's success for over 80 years. Now we're in the digital age, and PSI continues to encourage poets and support poetry writing in innovative and exciting ways. A lot of communication and outreach is faster and easier than in the past. Events, contests, workshops, writing sessions and more can be both in-person and digital. So much can be planned, promoted, executed, and shared across platforms like our website, Zoom, social media, and in other ways.
Many hands make light work!
PSI's Board Officer and Appointed positions are listed below.
